Front Sway Bar Mounting Bracket

I hit a really bad pot hole during the week and noticed an odd thumping and banging from the front right corner. Took the next day off while trying to figure out just what I did to the poor car.

I found out I broke the bracket and that the top bolt was sheered off 2/3s down the thread.

I don't have the money to replace the cross member, would there be any way I could fit a new thread? I didn't think there was enough room to drill out the broken bolt and fit a new one. I also have to assume that they are welded to that part of the cross member.

Basically asking if anyone has had this happen to them and if there is a way to fix it.

I think it is just a regular flanged-head bolt that the factory tack welds the head to the subframe on the back side, an auto body/frame shop can probably fix it

Can anyone confirm that its tacked. Found one of my bolts busted during installation of a new sway bar. Can it be punched out or drilled?
