Question Flooded Rx8

Hey Im just wondering how hard it is too rebuild an rx8 engine? I found a salvage place near me selling a 2004 8 gt with nav that looks perfect has 24k miles but had gotten flooded and doesnt have any compression, what can cause a rotory not to have compression wouldnt it just be the rings on the rotors? i have no clue on how rotory's work just geussing. any info would help alot thanks.

Louisville----rotaries are easy to rebuild and many people do it. Very few do them correctly (just like any engine). The compression issue is a bit disturbing. Email me and we can talk a bit more. Depending on the price, it may be a good deal and you can either repair the existing engine or acquire a used one and drop her in.
