Fabricating motor mounts

Hey guys, so I am doing some research and seeing how hard it would be to swap another rotary engine in the rx8. I've done some swaps with hondas but those are very simple to do and virtually plug and play. I'm not worried about the wiring, I am confident I can figure it out. What I dont know how to do is how to fabricate motor mounts.

What is the best way to fabricate motor mounts for the RX8? Lets say for a 20b or a 13b-re? Or any motor for that matter. What materials should I use and where can I find them?

I've searched this forum and google but didnt get much info rotary related.

lol nycgps.

doing an engine swap is a bit of big business. motor mounts may end up being one of your minor worries.

Anybody that has all that info about motor mounts would be more likely to sell you a set rather than tell you how to make them.

there's a thread about draining the fluid from the hydraulic OE mounts and then filling them with polyurethane, this is your best bet unless you prefer excessive vibration and rattles

if you decide to use solid mounts you also have to fab heavier duty engine brackets or else the OE brackets will eventually break
