Error on refuelling

Quick question:

A friend loan me his car and I refuelled on regular. I have to give it back to him today and the tank is almost full. Is there something I can add to prevent problems? I don't want him to notice I made that mistake...

Can anybody help?

Dont worry about it(?).

Wont hurt the car, sometimes rotaries run better on lower octane fuel anyhow.

yeah, forget about it: you're not going to nuke the engine.

My guess, he'll ask you what you put in because it runs so damn smooth now.

Anyone else wondering what I'm wondering?

Man you have some kick *** friend!

well, if you're truly concerned, you can always buy a can of octane booster from pepboys.. it should take it up a couple of points.

Those octane booster cans from Peb Boys actually up it a few points as in decimal points.

Be glad you didn't refuel at a local station here. This week, a supplier filled one of the station's unleaded tanks with diesel fuel by accident. There are several messed up gas-powered cars which the supplier has to pay to repair. A diesel rotary -- that would be interesting!

You must be REAL GOOD friends. I wouldn't loan my new RX-8 to anybody! :D

Another idea: tell your friend you need the car one more day and go on an exciting road trip, up twisty mountain roads or along a seashore. Then fill up with premium.
