Ok maybe it's paranoia although I'm not worried yet. But every place I have read, people say the engine is so quiet you can't hear it standing next to it blah blah.

Heck you can hear mine running from far enough away. This morning I started it up, played musical cars in my driveway and put my car in my neighbours driveway.

When I got out of my house again, I could hear it running in his driveway, it's not loud in the cabin but it's not silent.

It is louder on the outside.

I have yet to hear another 8 run.
