I have a 04 plate RX8 with a poorly engine, it has the old hot start issue, i have been able to get hold of an engine which needs a few oil seals replacing but the apex seals/rotors etc are fine so i would be very grateful if anyone knows a garage or somebody that would be able to make one good engine out of the two i have and install it into my car, the closer to the North East of England the better.

 

You cannot simply swap out oil seals... you need to put in all new ones along with water seals...

Also you had best replace the apex,side and corner seals and springs along with oil control ring springs and the oil scrapper springs. That is the minimum, not including cleaning and everything else that will need to be done.
