I have replaced a faulty cd changer at the dealership and after a while (can't remember if it started straight or later), I started getting a whistling engine noise in speakers.

Could this be a fault in the new mp3 device which I got from ebay and wasn't specific for rx8?

is there something I could check myself before taking to garage?
