ECU clear/reset - what are the numbers 01, 02, 03, "on" and "off" display?

I was messing around the car last night and found it. When you clear or reset the ECU via the odo, you're able to scroll to a number of functions? I don't even know what to call it-- can someone shed some light on this?

What does the 01, 02, 03 stand for? It went all the way up to 50 I think, some of them even had "off" and "on" displayed.

Thanks for clarifying--oh and if there's a thread on this--can you please post it? I don't really have a clue on what to search for.

Thanks again !

Thanks, I just tried it and couldn't find anything. Are they specifically for instrument only? I'd like to know what each number represents, like how the codes represent when you get a CEL?

Would this information be in a shop manual? I was scrolling though them and I saw "on" and "off" just curious as to what they represent.

Thanks again !

Is this what you're looking for? There are additional pages--too many pages to post here--in the shop manual describing the ON/OFF readouts for each code and what they mean.

^^Yes !! That's it --thanks Go48. I guess, the codes are sort off like a check list of the instrument panel?

Here's an example of check code 04 details. I believe that these codes are normally read using the WDS for diagnosing problems.
