How might you go aobut putting the ebrake on the LEFT side of the car (U.S). can a JDM interior fit on a U.S. chassis? (where the ebrake is)

Lots of cutting and welding. Or duct tape.

...don't sweat it. you were probably just looking at a picture that was horizontally flipped, if you think you saw it in a picture.

You can tell if it was flipped because the ignition is always on the right side.

Look at the keys in the above two pics

It must suck to have a RHD RX-8 because of the big tranny bulge on that side. Or maybe not since it was probably designed as a RHD car.

Wow, I'm sure glad we got the left-hand-drive models. Having the ebrake between me and the shifter would drive me insane. (it's a short drive )

I was thinking the opposite. I usually drive one handed and put my right hand on the e-brake, and would prefer the handle on my side of the console. My wife accuses me of entering her space as it is where the e-brake is in the lhd model.

It doesn't suck. I've never noticed the bulge in driving, and I would prefer more leg room as a passenger (to put things on the floor or to stretch when I'm not driving on long trips).

I had this big fat *** I work with in my car the other day and his big fat *** leg was pressed against the ebrake. When I went to release the brake the fat *** had to move his leg so I could get my hand in there, it was a damned nightmare.

Besides that I when I was driving around with him my car said,"Hey John, WTF, who is this fat ***, he is killing me." I said," hey buddy, sorry, it will just be a little while." Then RX-8 said,"well alright, but tell that fat *** to stay away from McDonalds, and no more supersizing!"
