Ok so my ebrake light comes on when I press on the brake a bit hard, the after either a few minutes or days it shuts off. i checked the brake fluid level and its half way so its good. I know my brake pads are quite low, im storing the car in the next few weeks, so im planning to do pads in the spring. Does anyone know what this issue can be? could it be because the pads are low? Thanks

Also one of my high beam bulbs are burnt our so my DRL dont come on when the ebrake is down. I here its cause the lights run in parallel. I dont think that is the issue would it, cause mazda wants me to check if that is the issue or the DRL module. But its been like that for like a year and i never had a problem, so I highly doubt that is the issue.

Your correct about the Ebrake light. your pads are pretty low so the fluid is a low as well triggering the light to come one.

 

but i checked the level of the fluid and the tank is in the middle, which is normal.

 

yeah that is when the the light starts to come on.. trust me, i just did my brakes and my ebrake light has not come on since..
