DSC/TCS OFF - Does it matter when?

If your RX-8 is equipped with DSC, you can turn both the DSC and TCS systems OFF by holding the DSC OFF button down for several seconds, until the "slippery when when" orange light comes ON in the tach guage....

Now, does anyone know if it matters WHEN you disable these systems? Should it be done before you begin driving, when the car is at a stand still? Can you turn it OFF at speed on the highway? Does it matter?

Also, Has anyone heard of a way to PERMANENTLY disable these systems yet??

???????????????

You can disable it while you are driving but hopefully not in the middle of a spin

Why do you want to Permanently disable it? You can just cut the cable

I've done both. Turned it off immediately after starting the car and after the cars been on a while. IMHO off is off, it doesn't matter when.
