DSC light flashing and TC light on constantly - wont' reset

So recently while driving, my dsc light started flashing and the TC light stays on constantly. (was off when I started the drive)
It happened when I was signalling to make a left.

Battery reset -> dsc initialization procedure (steering wheel right to left) doesn't reset it.

Things checked so far:
Wheel sensors all read the proper resistance ( all 4 )
Wheel hubs are good and tight.
Check the power connections at the DSC wiring harness and there is power to the abs and dsc pins.
3rd brake light and brake switch are good.

Things left to check:
SAS (Steering angle sensor)
YAW rate sensor
DSC unit itself.
If you know a way to check these out using a multimeter then let me know.

I did notice that when I unplug a wheel speed sensor that the DSC and TC light go out and the ABS light gets illuminated. Then after plugging the wheel sensor back in, the ABS light goes out and the DSC flashes and TC back on and won't reset.

Note: ABS is still working good on the car with the DSC flashing and TC light on.

Any ideas beside a used DSC unit and re-programming at Mazda?

Have you checked for codes via the OBD port?

Just in case you don't know after doing the full left full right you know you have to drive it around for about 10 min for the lights to reset. Wish I could help you out better man sounds like a censer broke or something

You need a scanner that can read the Mazda codes and do live data. There is likely info there that your OBD scanner isn't picking up

Yeah. If they hook it up to the WDS, I'm sure they can run a diagnostic on it to check each individual part and see what the issue is.

Probably going to have to bite the bullet and bring in it to the "stealership"

You need a more advanced OBD2 device that can access higher level diagnostic modes, there are up to 10 modes available:

Does a good Windows OBD2 software or freeware exist? I have a BMW scantool cable DCAN that I use for DX on the E9x and I wonder if I can get the full Mazda set with better Windows freeware?

So I've had the same issue for the longest time. I've recently picked up an OBDLink (which is f**king amazing btw) and I've finally been able to see the codes. It's showing me a Yaw Rate Sensor issue and a Steering Angle Sensor.

Did you manage to get yours diagnosed?

Oh I should add that doing the full right, then full left with the wheel doesn't turn off the DSC, so I'm assuming it's the Yaw sensor

Why would you assume that?

What did the live data from the steering sensor look like?
Does your cruise control switches and stuff on the steering wheel work correctly?

Yes, Versatune makes a product that I am still getting used too, its pricey but it gives you tuning capabilities if you need them (full version) and can read codes and can watch live data.

Yes, Versatune is kinda expensive but the full version allows for tuning, reading codes, and watching live data. Its a good product.
