I have a new bumper at the body shop that will be getting painted this week. I am going to install the new oem bumper back on myself and I was wondering if it would be alright if I went ahead and took off the wrecked bumper and drove with it off for about a week, until I put on the new bumper next weekend.

EDIT: Forgot to add it is the rear bumper

 

The only issue I can see is if you don't rig a lighted rear license plate the cops might pull you over.
