The odd thing, I am able to downshift into 1st at about 15-20 mph, but I'm not doing it so I can accelerate at that speed. I usually am coming up on a stop sign, push clutch in from second, and push it into first *don't really force it, just kinda slightly put pressure on first until it just slips on in at 15ish* and when I stop, I then start pulling out the clutch...

From the sounds of it, that could be damaging my Synchros. I guess I better stop. Glad I stumbled upon this thread!
