Do Flowmasters Sound Good On An Rx-8???

I have a 2004 rx-8 that i have recently purchased and i want it to have a mean throaty sound coming from that dual exhaust that goes along with its mean looks. Knowing how well flowmasters sound on a muscle car i was curious if anyone has exprimented with putting them on a rotary. Any advice on this would be very helpful. If not flowmasters what other exaust systems are out there that would give me what i am looking for ????? Thanx !

Flowmaster themselves do not recommend the use of their mufflers on rotary engines. The excessive heat and different harmonic vibrations from rotaries will tear them apart. I have known a few people to use them but they didn't muffle very well and I personally thought they sounded raspy and tinny.

Definitely not Flowmasters. Try looking into Borla, or similar.
Flowmasters, like RotaryGod said, will be destroyed by the heat and exhaust pulses from the Rotary.
