DIY with Videos?

Just a thought and wondering why this has not been more of a regular thing with the RX8. There are a good number of rotor heads that can do a lot with the rx8 on their own, but there are a lot of newbs like me that needs a lot of direction to do things like gear oil changes, spark plug changes, brake change etc... if we had people doing video's of these and imbedding them into youtube, that would be an awesome resource...

Reason I thought of this is I have a G35 as well, and I recently saw all these things on Youtube for G35 maintence... It was so easy to follow with a video that over the past 2 weeks, did the oil change, changed the cabin air filter, and did the Rear Differential change on the car... All easy to do with the video...

Wondering if people are interested in keeping this in mind for the RX8 community.

I would like to see vids, too. I'd pay for a DVD with a lot of simple stuff, even stereo removal, LED install, that kind of thing. But not holding my breath.

Hey guys, you're in luck. I do DIY videos for many different cars. Check some out here:

I actually did one not too long ago for an RX8 (radio removal) You can watch it here:

If you guys have any special requests, let me know and I will try to record video for those items.

I'm not sure I could be of much help there.. .you just press down hard and pull out - the wires just come out. Maybe next time we're back there we could try to film that...
