what kind of tape did you use?

 

that idea with the tape and bondo wont work....
you cant get into the backside of trunk.
i took off the "carpet" stuff and to my surprise it was blocked off.
but it was a good idea. : )

 

What do you guys use to re-attach the badges. Specifically the flying "M".

 

i blackend mine and used some 3m double sided sticky tape. Worked really good heated it up a bit cleaned the place they where stickin to also i had to cut the tape with a razor to fit them niceley along the badges so they wouldnt show.

 

yea im just taking mine off to paint them black and put them right back on lol. i dont want to deal with the holes in the trunk even tho it would look better with the emblems off the car all together.

 

Im defentally doing this to my car this weekend! what do you think about taking all badges off execept blacking out the front and RX8 on the back?

 

I would like to see some badges painted to match the car's color. I.E. My badges painted the same pearlescent white.
