Differential Housing Question

Does anybody know if there is a difference in the AT (non-lsd) and MT (lsd) differential housings (series 1)?

I am not talking about the gears, lsd, or final drive ratio -- just the housing.

To simplify: Will an AT "open" differential housing bolt into an MT RX8 without modifcation or change to other driveline parts?

Thanks in advance. Sorry if this has come up before, I could not find it.

Please don't ask why or tell me that this is a stupid idea. Just looking for the facts.

Nothing too crazy, Stephan. I have a bin of different final drive r&p's that I have collected.. So i decided to put together a few pre-prepared rear ends (4.10, 4.30, 4.44, 4.77) for kind of a "semi-quick change" at different tracks. Local yard has a great selection of rear end housings, but areall auto non-locking. Just wanted to make sure everything used the same axles/driveshaft ect., before doing the work.

Thanks for the info, everyone.
