Diagnostic test for audio unit
The manual says:
2. While pressing the POWER button, simultaneously press the AM button and the TAPE/MD button for 2 s or more.
I have been sat in my 2005 RX8 pushing buttons for 10 mins and no joy.
I am trying to find out what kit I have installed without ripping the unit out. I am eventually looking at doing an "audio input" hack but more of that later.
Grateful to hear from anyone who has either made this work or who had a problem and got it working.
I HAVE searched posts and the only relevant one i could find says that codes will not show if there are no error codes to display - cna that be true??
