Deflooding using this windshiel washer method

how do i really do this?
can i just unplug it at the elbow and re route it into the side port or do i need the other **** too? the hose coming from the pump is long enough to reach it so can i just unplug and plug into the ports?

Yes, you can just unplug it from the elbow and install in onto each port.
I've done this too.
