ON Dealer Say New Plugs For The 8's

I'm in Canada and OEM (NKG's) spark plugs from my local dealer are close to $300 a set of four..... two leading two trailing. The parts guy tells me these are for the new type of plugs for the 8's not available in the after-market yet. Is this a line of BS or what? If so what are the part #s so I can see if they truly not available in the after-market.
Any who works at a mazda dealer preferably in Canada who can answer this question that would be great. Oh! all post welcome not just a madza employee.
Thanks

There "were" some older style plugs, but NGK stop making them a LOT time ago(Cuz Mazda told them that the design sucked so they changed it, that was like 3-4 yrs ago)

so yea, the part guy pretty much "BS" you. All plugs today are the same from Factory or "so called aftermarket aka buying them from NGK" , its just different box.

So, it definitely BS. I'll order online and save a pile of dough, 1/3 to be exact, I guess I'll get new wires as well with all the $$$ I'll save.

Thanks everyone!

This is just a Post # Test. This is a test of the emergency broadcast system if this was a real emergency you would be directed to your nearest fall-out shelter.

Loved it!

Even if you do buy them online I'd go to the dealer guy and seriously put him in his place..

That is just ******* ridiculous.. one thing is to overprice them terribly.. but then to lie and make you feel like you have no other choice.. is that not a form of extortion or something? ugh
