curious question

I recently bought a rx7 and i have a engine out in my rx8 and i also just bought a 13b injection engine from a auctioned rx7 frfom a salvage yard and i was curious if the 87 rx7 engine could be installed into the 04 rx8.

An N/A FC engine in an RX-8? Well anything is possible......

why would you want to put a 146hp NA FC engine in place of a 232hp NA Renesis engine?

im just trying to get my rx8 back on the road for less than $11,775 that mazda quoted me and i got the deal of a life time on the salvage rx7 parts praticaly a steal for engine and trany for $450 plus every thing under the hood and the dash for $250 more

i want my rx8 on the road again and i want to make it manual drive also

the engine and trany are in great shape runs great and had less problems than the renesis engine.

You can get a used renensis from Atkins Rotary or MazMart for waaaay less then that.

To be more charitable, they are rebuilds. Usually what, a little less than 2 grand? And all the sensors will plug right-in. Your gauges would work.
