Coolant Sensor problem resolved?

I know that coolant sensor is a common problem for 8. But I am not sure if there is a confirmed working solution for that other than unplugging the cable.

Apparently, Mazda has updated the coolant reservoir/sensor and the part number is now N3H1-15-350(L/M) or higher. My question is: for those who replaced the whole coolant system with updated parts, does the problem ever come back? In other words, does the updated part resolve the problem once for all?

Thanks.

seriously speaking.

You should remember ANY electrical item is a "wear" item. meaning it will go bad one day.

back to your question : Yes, the updated bottle(sensor) last longer.

thanks! but i think the coolant sensor problem appears a little bit too often to be simply categorized as normal electrical item wear...

good to know that the new part is lasting longer though

all cars are like that, it takes YEARS of "trial and error" before the manufacture will catch all these little defects ...
