I have removed my engine for a rebuild by Pettit Racing and noticed there are a huge amount of vacuum lines. I tried searching but cannot find a kit. I could maybe use the spools but a lot of the lines have multiple 90 degree bends which I could not recreate with universal lines without fear of collapsing the hose where a hard bend is. I would really like a silicon hose kit.

 

stock vacuum lines is made of EDPE rubber, which last fairly long, but the price will rape you.

just use silicone hose, as long as it's not fold, its fine.

 

I used over the counter hose from autozone that you can buy priced per foot. works perfect no issues at all. you'll be fine with that

 

There are no kits. But you need to make sure it is vacuum line. A lot of stuff that is sold as vacuum line (Autozone, etc.) is not actually vacuum line. And in my case, I'm boosted so vacuum hose that won't collapse is very important.

True vacuum line is thicker walled or stiff walled so that it does not collapse. If you use fluid hose you may end up having issues. The best stuff I have found to date is from Hose Candy. It's not cheap but it fits very snug and is very thick walled and stands up to the rotary engine bay environment very well. It is very well made stuff, I'm not sure if it is silicone or not.
