Question CODE p0850 HELP Please

OK listen I researched the code p0850 here on the forums. I found nothing useful, but people saying to change the Neutral switch input circuit on the tranny. Where exactly is the switch on the tranny? Does anyone have a picture? Is this the reason why my cruise control isn't working?

On the tranny i saw 2 white female and 2 black female connections. And the harness that connectes to the tranny had 2 white male and 2 black male connections. Does it matter which white to the white is connected? same question for the black?

Any help would be awesome thanks

edit:

Problem fixed =]
Ok I jacked up the car.

Disconnected the ---Neutral and reverse switches on the driver side of the tranny--

Next I cleaned them up with a spray to clean electrical connections.

then i swaped them. White to the other white. And black to the other black.

I also used a Multimeter but i didn't get the same readings as the link above. Mine just read 1.

So i put everything back nice and snug.

--AND-- problem fixed. No cel and Cruise Control works.

My advice. when disconnecting the Neutral and reverse connections from your tranny. Mark them even though you probably dont really need to. there color coded. white to white etc. And clean the connections before you reinstall them.

the neutral switch?

I forgot the connector color. but its on the side of the tranny. somewhere above & after the tranny oil fill hole. so that means yes its on the driver side.

of course it can, remember the cruise control is tied into all of this. this way if you ever move your shifter while in cruise, it automatically deactivates.

those wires aren't marked and I believe they will go in either way... so they can definitely be hooked up wrong.

im going to be a doing a clutch install on sunday, so ill have to look out for this
