Clutch warranty - how long

Does any one know the length of time the clutch is warrantied for? I was reading the posts but the only thing I could find was 12k miles, not the length of time. My manual really doesn't say other than service adjustments are 12mo/12k miles. I wouldn't think a clutch would be under a service adjustment.

Think I found it. However, look slike Mazda reduced their warranties.

What is covered under the manufacturer's warranty?

The New Vehicle Limited Warranty for 2007 models is 36 months/36,000 miles, whichever comes first, from the original in-service date. In addition, all 2007 models have a 60 months/60,000 miles Powertrain limited warranty. The Powertrain includes such items as the engine, transmission, trans-axles, and differentials. Defects in materials and workmanship are covered. Please contact your Mazda dealership for complete details.

The New Vehicle Limited Warranty for 2003 to 2006 models is 48-months/50,000-miles, whichever comes first, from the original in-service date. It covers defects in material or workmanship.

All warranty work must be performed at an authorized Mazda dealer.

Parts of the vehicle have a different warranty than the standard warranty. The coverage will still be for defects in material or workmanship. The following are some of the different warranties for Mazda vehicles:

Adjustments — 12-months/12,000-miles
Airbags (Safety Restraint System) — 60-month/60,000-miles
Brake Lining/Pad — 12-months/12,000-miles
Clutch Disc — 12-months/12,000-miles
Perforation — 60-months/unlimited mileage
Seatbelts (Safety Restraint System) — 60-month/60,000-miles (1991 models and newer)
Tires — warranted by the tire manufacturer
Wiper Blades — 12-months/12,000-miles
Emissions parts are very specific and regulated by the government. Please refer to your authorized Mazda dealership for a diagnosis and warranty coverage.

Emission parts should be the first 2 years. IF Im not mistaken.

Clutch Disc should be part of the powertrain warranty. and there are people on this board replaced their Clutch at like 40K miles w/o any problems.

Hmm ... they changed the warranty for 07 models ... but so does other Automobile companies. ahh life is hard I guess. (Ford is dying)

clutch as mentioned in owner manual is 12k or 12 m... but they will take care of it if the car is not abused...

My clutch was replaced at 5000 miles. One day the clutch pressure plate bolts backed out and the clutch disc "exploded" at 65mph. The dealer was trying to blame me for about a week saying it was abuse (which is not true). Finally the regional Mazda representive authorized the dealer to replace the clutch under warrenty. If they screwed me over, I would have started a war with Mazda North America.
