The clutch throw bearing is gone in my car, and I'm wondering if you guys can comment on:
1) What I should replace, given the tranny's now coming out...
2) Where you think I'd get the best price for parts

They all make noise. Just spray some lube up there. If your lucky it will go away.

No guarentee that a new one wont make noise in six months.

Replace the clutch if your going to work on it, otherwise leave it as is.

 

It's not just the noise... it was making a screeching noise for a couple of weeks, then last night suddenly the clutch would go in halfway without resistance, and it was very challenging to change gears... damn near stalled at a light..

 

You need a clutch assembly, bhr sells them with the throwout bearing. You can change the pilot bearing and the transmission shaft input bearing while you are at it.
