i went to plug in my new ipod adapter for my car and my cigeratte lighter next to the ash tray beneath the radio was not working... ok no big deal ill use the one in the compartment between the front seats... that one is not working either?

just tryin to figure out whats goin on here...

i saw a fuse behind the ash tray but it looks like its intact but im not sure its a wierd fuse....

and it confuses me why both lighters are not working?

are you sure it's not the adapter that's broken?

if that isn't it.. check the fuses underneath the steering wheel to the left

 

This should definitely be your first step.

There are 2 different fuses for the center console (20a "Aux") and the ash tray (15a).

 

had the same problem you had...fixed it by going to ur fuse box and looking for Ciggarette lighter fuse or something i forget its one of those, pull it out check it to see its no good, replace and ur good to go~

One add on question here, to the left of my glove compartment there is a round plastic tab that looks like it would hold an extra 12v cigarette lighter, does anyone know anything about this?
