chip upgrade

Wondering if anyone has experience with the advertised chip upgrades that promise +60 hp, +30 torque and + 7mpg. Real, fantasy, or con?

Do you honestly believe some box with a couple wires would give you 60+ hp?

Fantasy, the best your going to get with a tune is maybe 20 hp and 2 mpg if your lucky. There is the tried and true Cobb Accessport in which pretty much locks you into a single vendor (mazdamaniac.com). Or, keep an eye on Mazdaedit. It is new and seems to have possibilities.
