Changing Plugs
Okay,
This is really not for me. I'm not a rotary owner, however my gf is. She got a call from the dealer the other day saying that it's too cold and that they need to change out the spark plugs.
The car has 2500 miles on it, so this sounds a bit fishy to me 
I've had imports for all my life, and I've never heard of such a thing.
So, I turn to you, all wise rotary experts to help my answer this question....

- That does sound pretty sketchy to me BUT if she flooded her car it could be possible that the plugs do need to be changed. Has she ever had times where the car just wouldn't start? (typically because last time it was started it was shut off quickly / before it warmed up?)
The plugs are pretty easy to check if you're feeling up to it. Jack up the front left side of the car, remove the wheel and directly in front of you will be the plugs. I'd recommend checking them to see if the dealership is trying to pull a fast one.

It could be the plugs were never changed. All new cars are suppose to have their plugs changed before ownership per the new TSB.
WE also have hotter plugs now.
The reason for the chage is: start and stops at PORT and dealership.
They don't want the new plugs to be partially fouled for new owners.

Observe standard spark plug protocol: use anti-sieze compound when replacing the plugs.
IMHO, with 2.5 K miles on them, the plugs will be fine. A dealer snafu -- not replacing them before a new car left the lot -- makes more sense.
It's probably too late for this, but don't side-jack the car with anything but the factory jack. If using a floor jack, there's a jack point in the middle. I think it's shown in the owner's manual.

The strange thing is that they called out of the blue and said that this needed to be done. I thank you for the help, and I will jack up the car tonight!!
