I just bought my wife a 07 RX8, and am needing any info inregards to the ingine. I have owned two LS1 TA's, but this little motor kinda scares me. How many plugs does it have, and what kinda of maintance will it require? I know this is probably the oldest question in the book, but any help will be APPRECIATED.

Four plugs, two per rotor. They are expensive - they run very hot and are quite high-tech.

Thre's no special maintenance, just check your oil every second gas fill-up. The engine injects oil to lube the internals, so your level will slowly drop.

Experts say to redline it once per trip, when it's good and warm - keeps the carbon from building up (plus it's fun.)
