CEL on after intalling AEM intake and SRmotorsport pulleys kit

CEL on after intalling AEM intake and SRmotorsport pulleys kit
the CEL is flashing and sometime stay on for a while after I intall the AEM intake and Pulley set. any of you have any ideas about this or what could I have done wrong to cause the CEL flashing.

uh. I think you need to reset your eccentric shaft sensor. I'm sure there are threads here that will not only tell you exactly what you need to reset after installing pulley's, but also how to reset it. Search and you will find everything you need.

No, but here's what you do.
Turn the key to on, but do not start.
Stomp brake pedal about twenty times(quickly) while watching the oil pressure needle until it sweeps all the way to the right and then back. If doesn't sweep, turn off, wait, and then start over.
Turn key off.
Start car as normal, if it's still on, then start over.
Remember to not shut the car off when it's cold.
Turn the key to on, but do not start.
