Catback exhaust + Gutted Cat=?

Hey guys,
I'm looking to upgrade my exhaust to cat-back, but I seem to be in a little different of a situation than the other threads I found. My cat is gutted (lol), so is that going to cause a Cat-back system to be a lot louder than it normally would be? It made a little difference with the stock exhaust when I gutted it.

Thanks!

No, I'm not trying to troll y'all. Sorry if I did **** anybody off though but I really was being serious. And thanks for the reply. It didn't make much of a difference on my stock exhaust, so I didn't know if would w/aftermarket. Since it does, then I'm glad I found out now.

What exhaust were you looking at? It wont turn a quieter exhaust into crazy loud but it does increase sound, tone, and probably rasp at higher rpms.
