hey guys... all the gas stations in my area are all out of premium gas(alabama) cuz of the hurricane related stuff.. so RX8 is completely out of gas

i have 3 cars(rx8, lexus suv, and toyota rav4) and my rav4(our3rd car) has some gas that hasnt been used in couple mnths.

when i started the car up and acted lil funny but i kinda expected that since not been started in forveer.. and we moved it in our driveway.. and it sounded fine..

but when i turned the car off .. the suv is completely dead.. no power at all..even the power locks dont work..

anyone have any clue what it can be'/???

i tried jumping it but nothing.. no sound at all. no clicking or anything

i dont wanna spend $ cuz this is my 3rd vehicle but this suv has been so reliable.

any techies have a clue

Loose electrical connection, or possible the battery has just died, especially if you haven't used it in a couple months. Hook up a battery charger and see what happens after a couple hours.

 

yeah trickle charge is your friend... if that doesn't work... I dont know man

Also, a tank of regular is not a big deal with the 8, just remember to fill it with premium ASAP after that

 

it polly died cuz it doesnt run on roatarys :D, but i think it could be a loose connection ive had a similar problem in the pasted because of wires not being properly connected, so i would say to check tat out first

 

Yep dead battery. Charge it overnight and you will be fine.

yall think battery? it did start up for lil while then died when i turned off and wont do anything

they sell them at walmart. about 20 bucks or so for a cheap one. i got one for my trolling motor battery. works good.

 

about anywhere sells them walmart is good also sounds like a very very dead battery to me and a tank of reg is not bad for the 8 if it "knocks" just get some octane booster and u will b good to go
