when i first start my car in the mornings my car tends to shake alot and rattle when i put it in to gear...Automatic....keep in mind the temp..here is like 30 degrees in the morning...what do you think it can be....does it only when i first put iit in gear in the mornings..or when the engine is really cold...

 

mine rattled in drive and reverse and it was due to bad motor mounts

 

I've *just* started getting this problem myself. Started about a month ago. When in drive and at idle, sometimes the car will have some pretty insane vibrations. Stops doing it if I put it in neutral though. Bad motor mounts then??? Might have to suggest it to the dealership next time I visit.

 

If it happens when you are driving it's the CAT.

 

I felt it a couple times, but not anymore..Hmmm I have to pay close attention to this now..

 

Is there anywhere we can buy aftermarket Motor mounts?
