cap in headlight needs snapped

I got into a little fender bender the other day and was looking at my right headlight. I noticed that the little cap for the light on the inside corner of the assembly was not snapped into place but was aligned just off of it. I was wondering if there was a technique to get this to snap into place. It appears that is is completely lined up and just needs to snap in. Sorry if this is on here somewhere however I could not find it when I searched. Thanks for all your help.

probably have to take the headlight off and get inside the cover and "snap" it back in!

Is there a way to actually get inside the assembly then? I didn't know if you could or not. I was under the impression that the cover and the rest of the assembly was sealed to each other.

bake it, open it, pop it back on, put it back together, re assemble.

THere are a few threads about opening up the headlights from people painting them, search around.

I would do it for you but Im multi tasking at work here
