Has anyone ever towed with their Rx8?
I wanted to buy a tiny trailer to bring my new Honda Grom around with me lol.
The bike only weighs 200 pounds and the trailer cant be any more than that. I figure it would be the equivalent of riding with 2 fatties in back.

 

Yes you can. It has been discussed. Use google. Search trailer hitches...

 

I have a towbar (hitch) on mine for bikes. They are rated to 1400k from memory. I had it custom made though as it was too much of a hassle to bring one in from the UK where they are available.

 

just because there are hitches available doesnt mean it can tow. It even says in the owners manual not to attempt to tow anything.
That's why I wanted to know if anyone actually did do it semi-regularly.

can you give me any information on what you did/used? It would be really helpful. Pictures would be awesome too

I carry 3 to 4 MTbs on it and although the cars a little ague if you push it, other than that it's fine. As I said, they ARE actually rated to tow here and in the UK so I can't see why you couldn't there. The law may say different though?? I will try and do photos later.
