can i fit a stock exhaust in the backseat of the car ?

as the title says, im trying to purchase a exhaust from a member of the forum but i have no idea if the stock exhaust will fit in the rear trunk and back seat if i have the cubby hole open. i was planning to slide the pipe in the hole while the exhaust sits in the backseat. has anyone have any experience with this before ? need help

You could probably lay the muffler on the passenger seat? I fit a few long boxes in like that before.

it will fit... even if its rusted together. I wouldn't recommend driving too far and bring some moving blankets/ towels

i wish i could but the pipe and exhaust are one piece until the midpipe...the full catback pipe is sticking to the exhaust so im wondering if it could go across the backseat and the pipe through the hole

It should fit, my Racing beat Exhaust / Cat / Cat back all fit INSIDE the damn box, I had no rear vision or right side vision because I had to push the passenger seat all the way forward for the box to fit and had to push it. Good thing I only went a few blocks to a friends house to install.

just a quick update.... YES the exhaust fits ....perfectly in the back seat, the pipe through the hole into the trunk...the passenger seat needs to be laying back while the driver seat need to be leaning forward to be able to make it GO in initially, then all u gotta do is fix the seat and drive home....thats how i did it

just in case anyone wanna know...:D

thx ...

Cant you "disassemble'' the exhaust the way aftermarket exhausts come in ?? I might try that.

in a normal situation, you could....in my situation, the exhaust was welded together at the joint of the pipe...THEREFORE, its exactly like the stock cat where it is almost impossible to remove the pipe....

you can also use this method to haul your stock exhaust home :D
