Question Break in Procedure

Hi folks,
I'm going to pick up my new Titanium Gt...:D
What have you heard about the break in period?
I'm going to take it to Thunderhill on Tuesday and wanted to check her out:p
I will prolly only have 300 miles on it by then....

Do a search, some people believe hard break in is good, others think you should drive it like a grandma for the first 600 miles.

I think "drive it like you stole it"

I think a nice compromise is no hard accel. in 1st gear, drive somewhat hard up to 6,000 or 7,000 rpms when you feel the need ( hehe ) in other gears... and don't redline till 600 to 800 miles... but definately do that oil change at 500!

Read the owner's manual. 600 miles. No mention of an oil change at 500 miles. Save your money.
