Blown Spark plug
I've got a blown spark plug. It's the top one of the two at the rear of the engine. I don't want to buy a whole set of plugs just one. Is it the leading or trailing plug I need?
I've read the posts on how to replace them so I'm ok with that part.
Thanks

Apparently you are not ok with it or you woulr know that there is a T and an L stamped in the housing beside the spark plug hole. Well mine does anyway have a closer look.
I'm curious how you get a single brown plug? A pic would help.
How many km's on the plug and coils?
BTW it sounds like you are talking about the Trailing plug

Yeah I read the part about the L and T but I can't see the letters from looking under the bonnet. I didn't want to take the wheel off, work out which one I needed, put it all back together then drive to the store then take it all apart again to fit the new plug.
The lead was just hanging loose and inside was the top and core of the plug.

T + L is easy
Top and Lower
Yes, they mean Trailing and Leading, but it's another handy way of remembering or figuring it out.
I'd really recommend replacing all of them though.

I think a brown colour on the spark plug is fairly common and normal.
Congats on being able to reach the plugs from the top ..... I couldn't do that.
+1 on changing all 4 plugs
If you can reach your plugs from the top then I am sure you wouldn't have a problem going from the side with the wheel turned all the way right or left. Try that next time if you still don't want to remove the wheel.
