There's a huge thread on this already.

All it does is tricks the ecu to thinking you're at a farther throttle position than you actually are (multiplies the throttle position by 1.x, depending on setting). So for example, with this device you can be at .5 throttle but it will tell the ECU that you are at .75. This idea does make for the feel of faster throttle response and it is a noticeable difference when driving but it creates a dead space at the end of the pedal that does nothing.

Many will say its the same thing as mashing the gas pedal which is partially true but after testing it, I couldn't help but think it really did increase the throttle response (technically, it would, but in a different way - drive by wire is drive by wire, only other way to increase response would be to bypass this system)

I would pick one up, if it were dirt cheap but even the price they offered me was too much.

Could you imagine installing this on a friends Toyota. They would get in and barley press on throttle and think, "OMFG It's Happening To ME!!!"

Because we can. We need a hole in our pocket to go along with the holw in our head.

For that money you can buy a flywheel, but then have to worry about installation.

Besides everyone likes to have some trix's on their car besides the sticker.

I myself have the fake turbo noise. Cool..........
