Best/ cheapest place to buy coils and plugs?

Hi I need to replace coils and plugs but my garage is saying plugs are £25 EACH and the coils are £80 EACH is he winding me up?

I found a set of 4 coils on eBay for £70 apparently oem parts but my garage warned me they could be rubbish and not oem

Any advice I don't fancy paying £400 quid for coils and plugs? Where's best place to get them? Any help would be great, cheers

I don't know of the UK equivalent options, but here in the US the OEM plugs, coils, and wires are available from normal auto-parts stores, for $20 per plug, $30-40 for the set of all 4 wires, and $21-30 per coil. If you ignore local market variances, the exchange rate should put them at ~£11 per plug, ~£13-17 per coil, and ~£18-22 for the set of wires.

Ngk.racing plugs is not designed for street cars, on race track they warm the engine with regular plugs first, then swap it out ngk r plugs

For turbo just use oem 8 and 9 plugs and u will be fine
