Battery Fitment question

I've searched but can not find a positive answer. Has anyone installed an interstate 24f-70 battery in an rx8. Im selling my maxima and i just put a new battery in it 3 months ago while the 07 rx8 still has the factory battery so im planning on a switcharoo. Will it work? The cca's are close to the same... and will the lid go back on top?

If you re read the original question you would see that i was asking if anyone has tried it for a sure answer. Your answer only covered exactly what i concluded after searching.... "probably too long" thanks anyways

Way to shoot down the help dude.

Go out on a limb. Give it a try. Good luck to you. Report back so all of the internetz can be at rest.

I wasn't trying to shoot down help but he came at me with the "5 min + google" as if he answered my question. No hard feelings and I didn't mean to insult anyone.
I swapped the batteries and it fit perfectly besides not being able to put the cover back on. My question is that cca on this battery is 800 compared to 650 on the own battery and ca is 1000! Will that have a negative effect on anything?

Great so now the person that ends up with your Maxima will have to figure out it has the wrong size battery in it.
