VA Bad Syncro Maybe?

Ok, so when it's really cold out and I shift from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd, I always get this like resistance for a second and a clanking kind of feeling and it goes into gear. I've heard maybe it could be my syncros going? I asked the dealership here and they said its because the tranny fluid needs to warm up and then they should be fine. The problem seems to go away after a couple minutes of driving. If I pull it into neutral and kind of play inbetween neutral and 2nd it get caught inbetween and grinds....what would this be???? I feel like an *** having to call the dealership and take it in all the time and having them tell me they don't think anything is wrong with it....

I mean the car only has 28,000 miles on it. Would it really be that they are just cold though... it seems a little odd for it to clank the way it is because its cold. I dunno.... I just know that my factory warrenty is up in a month or so.

yeah i think that is somewhat normal when it gets codl I've had my tranny rebuilt and it has done it before and after when it's cold for the first couple shifts then it stops if u hold in the clutch a couple seconds it does not grind(at least for me)

thanks guys, it really only seem to be those 2 gears that have any problem though. i would hate for anything to happen to my 8. I love this car. I drive it sometimes just to drive!
