automatic headlight adjustment malfunction light

hello everyone

i just recently bought a 2004 rx8 gt and am extremely happy with it accept for 1 problem. the automatic headlight adjustment malfunction light on the dash seems to come on randomly and than go away. is there anything i can do to fix this?

Just had mine checked out for this and the dealer said they couldn't find an error in the computer. Ugh, this is why I hate dealers.

Somewhere in the DIY section is a howto for rebuilding the headlight sensor units. Maybe you should take them out and see if they need to be rebuilt?

Why bother, if there's a TSB and I still have warranty protection.

Because the TSB could have already been done, and as you said, the dealer can't find anything wrong.

Sometimes if you want it done right....

have you recently changed your rear suspension??? the headlight sensor is to the rear axle arm I believe

I am the original owner, the TSB has not been done, and if this dealer won't take care of it I'll find one that will.

No I haven't recently change my suspension.
