do you think it is too loud? can a cop pull you over for having a loud exhaust? i live in FL and here cops can pull you over for noise abatement..which muffler noise reducer can i get for this type of exhaust just in case?

 

Some jurisdictions in the US can ticket you for not having an oem style exhaust on a car. It's up to you to determine what you think is acceptable or not.

I think our exhaust guards do a pretty good job concealing the tips much better then a honda or most fixed up cars passing by. So I think u just gotta worry about them behind u, being able to see inside ur 4 inch tips with ease.

 

Check your state laws, I believe in NY exhausts and audio systems cannot exceed 90 db's.

You will also notice that regardless of the law, gender and age discriminations play a large part of wither it will be a problem for you to. ie young kid in a import vs old guy in an american muscle who do you think they are going to pull over?

 

I found my AP to be obnoxiously loud. I put a Racing Beat midpipe on and love it.

Goodluck, most people are usually giving them away for free in the FS section here just because they don't want them. I personally kept mine, but I keep all my parts old a new. Just in case
