Anyone use Lucas Products?

I have been looking at all the threads and was wondering....

Has or does anyone use Lucas products in their MT or Diff?

I was thinking of using Lucas 75-90w Synthetic Gear Oil specifically used for Manual Transmission and Differential.

From what I can see it appears as though everyone uses either Redline or Royal Purple...

My transmission hated Royal Purple.
Been using Redline since I got the transmission replaced.

I use Lucas fuel injection cleaner. Good stuff.

I've had a ton of success and respect for Lucas in my past piston cars. Lucas kept a cracked camshaft and bent piston rod quiet and hidden for ~19k miles on my Corolla before it's engine blew. (No, I didn't know the existing damage until it blew and they disassembled it for diagnosis)

That being said, I have no idea how rotory engines handle them, and haven't seen any reference on here to them, so I haven't touched anything but their fuel additive.

I heard this super secret oil is actually the sweat from Erik and Todd while they toil away at BHR HQ. Any truth to these rumors?

Premixing doesn't count...lol

I just wanted to test the waters and see if anyone else has had any issues or praise for Lucas fluids.

I have a couple of friends who use it religiously in their cars (3000GT and a Stealth RT-TT). One buddy lost all fluid in his tranny and drove it 200+ miles before he realized it....the tranny was perfect no issues or fried synchros.

I am going to try it out and I'll let everyone know of the outcome...worst that happens I gotta rebuild or just switch it up.

I use Lucas fuel treatment (for injectors) on occasion, but Redline MT/Diff'l oil.

Always have used Redline in Diff & Tranny, been using Lucas UCL as premix for about 8 months. I would definately be interested in BHR double-top secret formula when / if it becomes available.

Gear lube study.

Even though Lucas gear oil placed last I still recommend their upper cylinder lubricant which I use religiously as premix.

^^^ I am surprised how poorly Royal Purple did in almost all of the testing done on Gear oils.

Hey I know I’m late to this but planning on changing my gearbox fluids soon how did it work out for you? I usually stand by Lucas as well but am scared to try it out with my daily rotary lol.
