Anyone ordered a Mazda reman recently?

Obviously have searched, but I'm just curious as to if there have been any recent orders of remans on the boards for S1's in the past few months ish? The general consensus is they have been coming with virtually new everything minus a few misc things like front cover. Just seeing if anyone can vouch that is still the case.

Also, anyone have the part number for a SI 6 port auto and manual reman off hand? Debating on ordering the auto if it comes with the counterweight if the price is the same, being as how the manual comes with the flywheel.

True, but I didn't get to inspect it, so I don't really have any input, other than to say it runs as expected under 4K RPM. Haven't revved it past there yet, due to breaking it in gently.

Any chance you plan on getting it compression tested?

My original motor is approaching 160k, so i'm planning ahead at this point, though it still is running fine for the most part.

They compression tested it after they installed it. It measured low to mid 8s. Of course, that is subject to change as it breaks in. The car is for sale, so I don't have any plans to spend any more money on it.
