Asked my dealer in Nova Scotia about this and they did not know.

I called Mazda Canada and was told that Bulletin is only for the US.

Anyone in canada have this done?

Yes, lots of us in Canada have had this done. Head over to the Canada regional forum, search for 'flash', and you'll find several threads that discuss this.

I had it done as well. My dealer did not make it difficult at all.

 

Having it done this week. Service Mgr. entered my VIN and got a printout showing that the 'M' flash and the passenger airbag fix had not been done. Told him there's also a recent (late June) bulletin from Mazda Can ( Thanks to this Forum) re: A/C on some '03 models. He's following up.

 

Yes, I had mine done 2 week's ago, no problem and it improved gas mileage a lot.

 

yeah, I had mine done. the dealerships in Canada are"special cases". They know nothing. Just have your computer upgrade\recalibrated\reprogrammed., whatever you want to call it. It will do the M-flash. The dealerships just know nothing of what the new settings upgrade, so they say there is no m-fl;ash. If you have them check the computer after. It is upgrade to a m'''''''''''''''''' (mnumbers). as the running program. good luck eh.
