FWIW a turbo kills some of the benefits of exhaust tuning.
The energy differential across the turbine is a bigger factor in making boost & power than the lost benefits in exhaust tuning.
I loved my big ol' header dump right behind the turbine. 3" expanding to 3.5" straight out to the street.
Like Frank said, when you get flow right, exhaust tune can give nice benefits.
Now if we could just find a practical way to rig a trombone exhaust.
